Schwanberg race 10,4 km from Iphofen to Castell, Germany

Since more than twenty years there is the traditionel Schwanberglauf at a Friday evening in July. The start is located at the Rödelseer Tor at Iphofen and the finish at the casteller wine fest. Also this year there was a huge amount of runners. The start was at 6:30om at sunny and hot temperatures. As every year there were three water stations. About every 200m there was somebody from the voluntary fire department standing, to be present if there is an emergency. Arrived at Castell there where a bottle of water and a glass of wine given to each runner. This year the glass with bon was not given directly to the runners when they finished. It was given when they refund their start numbers at the sprinkling wine bar.
