Yesterday morning Silvano the driver of the Italian caravan left. So, now they also have to stay at the Motel. At the afternoon they made their first experiences. It was not as easy anymore. Arriving, go to the fixed caravan and have the meal ready on the table was not possible anymore. Now they had to check in, bring everything to the room, pack out and fix everything. And in the end maybe also they have to cook. It looks like the four Italians (1 trainer, 1 doctor, 1 photographer and 1 runner) stay in one room. Oh and by the way. At the morning they have to pack everything and put it back to the car or rather trailer. Besides that they have to go shopping as well.

This morning Laure mentioned that there will be many turns today. The first two will be not marked. So the supporter should pay a lot attention at these places. Also there would be some big curves with little streets going away. So we had to be careful to follow the road. Not all are marked. AT about half way there will be a car museum. The owner had heard about the race and will set up an aid station. We should use that opportunity to have a look to the cars.

As usual when we started it was dark. So we had to wear a safety vest and a lamp. But there was one runner did not wear it. So Laure was getting very angry. Also he got lost in the Morning. So Laure was also angry about the supporter, because he was not at the right place. Even she had told it in the morning. Places with marking were good to see. The marking was on both sides and big. Even Peter, Anneke and runners on the wrong side could not get lost. René and Bérengère did the marking and made it very good. After about 40 kilometers was Laurel`s Afton Station. After having a drink I took time to look at the old timer. Then I continued. Also today we had a part with gravel road.

After I had arrived at the finish line, Peter, June and I were sitting a while together with Laure and Bérengère. Then we crossed the street to get to our motel. I did not stay there for a long time. I want to do another permanent trail. It brought me to the only existing rainbow bridge at Route 66.
